What Our Visitors Say
René Daniel D.
"Plage de Tiahura is a beautiful small beach with a relaxing atmosphere. There’s a park just behind the beach, as well as a restaurant and public restrooms, which is very convenient. Still, it’s a great place to unwind and enjoy the lagoon."
Daniel Haywood
"Great place to snorkel if you walk 200m north up the beach til you get to a small pier at “Captain Taína”, snorkel about 50m north of this and you’ll see loads of turtles there every day (and the odd shark too), as well as lots of fish. There is a wall of coral on the right hand side that always has turtles."
Debbie Schwarzer
"Easy parking, restrooms and place to shower off. We were snorkeling. Very safe, not much current, and never over your head unless you go very far from the beach. But much of the coral is dead. Still saw lots of interesting fish."
Simon Loche
"Hauru Public Beach in Moorea is more than just a beach - it's a slice of paradise! This stunning public beach boasts crystal-clear turquoise waters and soft, white sand that's perfect for sinking your toes into. Overall, Hauuru Public Beach is a must-visit for anyone vacationing in Moorea. It's a picture-perfect paradise that offers something for everyone. Don't miss out!"
